Ghosty Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Ghosty (“we,” “us,” or “the App”), a privacy-first iOS application developed by Christian Festa LLC.

By downloading, installing, or using Ghosty, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Ghosty lets you filter unwanted connections on your device using custom domains you add (limited to 3 in the free tier, unlimited in premium) or curated blocklist categories you can toggle on/off. Premium also unlocks viewing of all traffic logs (free tier shows only blocked entries). Everything runs locally on your iPhone or iPad.

License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Ghosty solely for your personal, non-commercial use on your own iOS devices. This license is subject to your compliance with these Terms.

User Accounts & Data

Ghosty requires no account or login. All your settings, custom domains, and local logs stay on your device. We collect zero personal data (see our Privacy Policy for full details).

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Premium features are available through auto-renewing subscriptions handled exclusively by Apple. All billing, cancellations, and refunds are managed by Apple via your App Store account. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Free-tier limits (3 custom domains and blocked-only logs) apply until you upgrade.

Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
You may not use Ghosty for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
You may not attempt to bypass or disable the App’s filtering features in ways that violate these Terms.

Content & Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the custom domains you add and how you use the App. Curated blocklists are provided “as-is” for convenience and may change without notice.

Disclaimers

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that Ghosty will block every unwanted connection, be error-free, or work with every network or website.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Christian Festa LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Ghosty.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of Ghosty after changes are posted in the App means you accept the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app alert.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Ghosty at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete it from your devices.
