Walkout Intros Privacy Policy

Walkout Intros ("we," "us," or "the App") is an iOS application developed by Christian Festa LLC.

It helps coaches, announcers, and teams create professional stadium-style walk-up intros. Users generate AI voice scripts (e.g. "Now batting, number 99, Michael Jordan"), pair them with walk-up songs from Apple Music or their library, and play full team lineups in order for games.

We collect very little — and what we do collect is anonymous.

Walkout Intros does not collect personal information, advertising identifiers, or any data that identifies you as an individual. We use privacy-preserving anonymous analytics to understand which features get used most — never tied to your identity, never sold, and never used to track you across other apps or websites.

Information We Collect (and What We Don't)

AI Voice Generation: When you create a walk-up intro, the player name, number, custom script text, and chosen voice settings are temporarily sent to our AI service provider (ElevenLabs) solely to generate the audio. This data is not stored by Christian Festa LLC after the audio is created and is never used to train models.
Song Selection: Choosing songs from Apple Music or your personal library happens entirely on your device or through Apple's secure APIs. We never see, store, or access your music library or listening history.
Team & Lineup Data: All teams, players, lineups, and saved intros are stored only on your device using iOS secure local storage. Nothing is uploaded or synced unless you manually enable iCloud Backup for the app.
In-App Purchases: Walkout Intros Pro (monthly or yearly subscriptions with a 1-week introductory offer) is processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details, email addresses, or purchase information.
Anonymous Analytics: We use TelemetryDeck — a privacy-first analytics service — to record aggregate, anonymous product events (e.g. "a team was created," "a walkup was played") along with general device and app-version metadata. We also record the title and artist of walk-up songs played, in aggregate, to see which songs are popular across the user base. No advertising identifier (IDFA) is collected, no IP address is stored, and no information that could identify you as an individual is ever transmitted. Because none of this is tied to you, no App Tracking Transparency prompt is required. Player names, team names, scripts, locations, and your music library are never sent.
Third-Party Services: Three third-party services are used by the app: (1) Apple Music / MusicKit for song search and playback, governed by Apple's own privacy policy; (2) ElevenLabs for AI voice generation, which receives only the script text needed to synthesize the announcement; (3) TelemetryDeck for the anonymous aggregate analytics described above. No advertising SDKs, no cross-app trackers, and no third-party cookies are used.

Data Storage

Everything you create — teams, players, lineups, scripts, and intros — stays on your device. Deleting the app removes all local data. There are no servers, no accounts, and no cloud storage of your content.

Sharing or Selling Data

We do not share or sell any data. The only outbound transmissions are: the script text sent to ElevenLabs for voice generation, and the anonymous aggregate events sent to TelemetryDeck — both as described above.

Security

Your data is protected by Apple's sandboxed environment and secure local storage. All outbound requests use encrypted HTTPS connections and contain only the minimal information needed.

Children's Privacy

Walkout Intros is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly process data from anyone under that age.

Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

Because we hold almost no data about you, there is very little for us to provide, correct, or delete. You fully control all content stored locally on your device. The anonymous analytics we receive cannot be linked back to you and therefore cannot be individually retrieved or deleted. For any questions, contact us and we'll respond promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally as the app evolves. Any changes will be posted in the app and on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
